Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in İzmir

Private welcome at İzmir Airport and transfer to your hotel. The evening is at leisure, with an itinerary briefing where your guide sets out the route through the Seven Churches and adapts it to your interests.
Day 2 — Smyrna — Ancient İzmir
İzmir / Smyrna
A privately guided day in İzmir, ancient Smyrna, the second of the seven churches. Explore the agora and the layers of a city that has been continuously inhabited for millennia, set around its great bay.
Day 3 — Pergamon
Pergamon / Bergama
Drive north to Pergamon, the third church, and its dramatic acropolis of temples, steep theatre and famed library terrace. The Asklepion healing centre completes a full private day among major monuments.
Day 4 — Thyatira & Sardis
Thyatira · Sardis
Two churches in one considered day: modest Thyatira in modern Akhisar, then wealthy Sardis with its restored synagogue and gymnasium and the ruins of the Temple of Artemis.
Day 5 — Philadelphia & Pamukkale
Philadelphia · Pamukkale
Visit Philadelphia in Alaşehir, the sixth church, before continuing to Pamukkale. Arrive in time to see the white travertine terraces in the softer light of late afternoon.
Day 6 — Laodicea & Hierapolis
Laodicea · Hierapolis
The seventh church, Laodicea, with its recently excavated streets and churches, followed by Hierapolis above Pamukkale — theatre, necropolis and the martyrium linked to the apostle Philip. Optional Colossae on request.
Day 7 — Toward Selçuk & the Virgin Mary
House of the Virgin Mary · Selçuk
Travel toward Selçuk, visiting the House of the Virgin Mary on its quiet hillside. The rest of the day allows for the Basilica of St. John and the atmospheric old town beneath the citadel.
Day 8 — Ephesus
Ephesus
A full private day at Ephesus, the first of the seven churches and one of the ancient world's great cities. Walk the marble streets past the Library of Celsus and the great theatre, at a considered pace.
Day 9 — Priene, Miletus & Didyma
Priene · Miletus · Didyma
A day among three classical sites south of Ephesus: the hillside grid of Priene, the vast theatre of Miletus, and — on request — the monumental Temple of Apollo at Didyma.
Day 10 — Departure
İzmir
After breakfast, private transfer to İzmir Airport for your onward journey.
