The Coast Seen From the Water, on Your Own Boat

Kekova is best known for the ruins of ancient Simena, partly submerged after earthquakes reshaped the coastline in antiquity — visible today as walls and staircases running down into clear water. A shared day-boat can only offer a fixed stop and a crowded deck; a private charter lets you approach at your own pace and linger where you like.

Beyond Kekova, the same stretch of Lycian coast holds Kaleköy village, built among Lycian rock tombs, and a series of quiet bays that a private route can reach more easily than a scheduled group tour. Swimming stops are worked in around the ruins rather than treated as the main event.

Boat operations along this coast are seasonal and weather-dependent, as they are anywhere on the water — your captain will confirm the exact route once conditions on the day are known.
